I like to draw, it's no secret. If you follow me on instagram you'll see the odd post about it there.
I just find it so relaxing, although when you can't get something quite right it does get infuriating.
I've spent many a night in with a dvd doodling away. So I thought today I would show you a few I am most proud of. Including this tiny little Up doodle above, yes I did draw it whilst watching Up. It's a great love story.
Here you can look at a somewhat questionable drawing of Dry the River, possibly my favourite band of all time. I'm pretty pleased with most the band members however huge apologies to Pete Liddle the singer, he doesn't look like such a junkie in real life I promise. He is a very talented man.
Dry the River are currently on a perfect tour with Biffy Clyro around Europe and I am hoping and praying they slip us here in the UK some dates (manchester, manchester, manchester)
Last but not least, this was one of the walls in my bedroom before I moved. I did most of these when I worked at The Kintbury Experience, I retreat centre for young people daawn saaauuth.
If you like to draw and have never tried drawing on acetate, give it a go. It's amaaazing! It feels so smooth and wonderful.
Another thing I really enjoyed was drawing on acetate and painting an acrylic background onto canvas board before putting the acetate on top. This is something I did for a friend who really loves Redemption Song by Bob Marley. It was pretty simple. silhouette drawing of his smiley smiley face and a bright bold background of Jamaican flag colours. But the effect was really nice, and she loved it. I'm sad I don't have a picture of it really because it's one of my favourite things I've done. Use your imaginations! haha.
Do any of you have little hobbies?

Wow, you are super talented! I don't have an iota of drawing talent - I was even considering buying a book that teaches you how to doodle because I am so bad at it! My lack of talent means that I am always in awe of anyone who can draw as beautifully as you. I love that doodle of Carl and Ellie - I love Up!
